Samsung Extends Free Screen Replacement Policy for Green Line Issue in Select Galaxy Models

Samsung has apparently extended its one-time free replacement of screens for the Galaxy S22 Ultra and Galaxy S21 series for India until September 2025
Previous Deadline: This offer was originally available only for devices outside of warranty up to the date of December 31, 2024.
Eligibility: Devices must be purchased within three years of purchase and without physical or water damage and be owned by the original buyer with an original invoice.
What's Covered?
- Replaces the OCTA (On-Cell Touch AMOLED) assembly.
- Kit and battery replacements with the screen.
- Labor charges are applicable and must be paid by the customer.
How to Avail?
Owners are able to make appointments at Samsung-authorized services centers for assessment and replacement.
Background:
Samsung has addressed the green line issue multiple times:
- April 2024: Launched a program specially to support the Galaxy S20 series, Note 20, S21 and S22 range.
- November 2024: Extended coverage for out of warranty devices through December 31st, 2024.
- Latest Update: The policy has been extended until September 2025 for S21 and S22 Ultra models (as per tipster Tarun Vats).
