IRCTC SwaRail App: Features, Login, Booking Guide & Benefits for Train Travelers

Earlier this year, SwaRail was introduced by the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) in collaboration with the Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS). Promoted as a SuperApp, SwaRail consolidates all of IRCTC's previous offerings into one updated and convenient platform.
The app, which is in beta testing, is available in the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Rail Connect users will find the option to enter their existing credentials or to register for a new account if necessary.

How To Use the IRCTC SwaRail App?
- Download the SwaRail app for free from the Google Play Store for Android devices or from the Apple App Store for iPhones.
- After completing the installation, launch the app.
- If you're already registered with IRCTC Rail Connect or UTS, enter your existing login credentials.
- If you're new to the service, tap 'Register' and follow the simple steps to create your first account. Only basic details are required.
Once logged in, explore the app:
SwaRail allows users to book both reserved and unreserved train tickets, purchase platform tickets, and monitor real-time train status along with PNR updates. The app also enables passengers to order meals during their journey, track parcel and freight shipments, and submit or track complaints through the integrated Rail Madad service.
